1. Acceptance of these website terms
Vectorization Studio is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, based in Observatory, Cape Town. These terms apply to all visitors, clients and other users of this website, whether you are browsing from Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Bloemfontein or elsewhere in South Africa.
By using this site, sending an enquiry or requesting a quote, you confirm that you understand these terms and that you will use the website lawfully and with respect. If you do not accept any part of these terms, please do not use the site.
2. Use of the website and enquiry form
The website is provided to share information about logo redraws, hand-drawn vector illustration and related artwork services. You may use the enquiry form on the contact page to request assistance, ask for a quote or send reference material for review.
- Submit accurate, current and complete details.
- Do not send spam, unlawful content or misleading information.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its forms or security settings.
- Use the site only for lawful business enquiries and related communication.
We may decline or ignore messages that are abusive, incomplete or outside the scope of our services.
3. Artwork rights, source material and ownership
When you send us a logo, drawing, sketch, scan, photograph or other reference file, you must own the artwork or have the legal right to use it and request redraw or illustration work. If you are acting on behalf of a business, agency or organisation, you must also have authority to approve the work.
We may work from bitmap images, low-resolution files, rough sketches or printed copies where a redraw is required. Where needed, we may trace, redraw or rebuild artwork by hand in vector format, or create a new illustration from a brief. Final use of any artwork remains subject to the rights agreed for that specific project.
- You must not submit third-party material without permission.
- You are responsible for clearing trademarks, copyright and usage rights before sending files.
- If rights are disputed, we may pause or stop the work.
4. File formats, artwork delivery and production use
Vector artwork may be supplied in common file formats such as SVG, EPS, PDF or AI, depending on the project requirements. These formats are used for scaling, print production and digital application across packaging, signage, labels, menus, stickers and social graphics.
We prepare logo files to suit the intended use, but the client remains responsible for final production checks. Colours can appear differently across screens, printers and materials, especially where paper stock or signmaking rules affect the finished result. It is best to confirm all artwork details before printing or installation.
5. Client approvals and project accuracy
Clients are expected to review proofs, spelling, measurements, placement and artwork details carefully before approving a final file. Once approval is given, changes may require additional work and may affect delivery timing. Please check names, contact details, sizing and layout information before confirming the final version.
- Review all proofs with care before sign-off.
- Confirm that the correct version has been supplied for print or digital use.
- Report any errors promptly and before production starts.
- Keep copies of approved artwork and correspondence for your records.
We are not responsible for avoidable errors that were approved by the client or introduced during third-party production.
6. Liability, interruptions and legal limits
We aim to keep the website available and the information current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page will always be free from error.
To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd and Vectorization Studio will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, business interruption or damage arising from use of the website, reliance on information on the site, or delays linked to incomplete briefings, late approvals or third-party production.
7. Changes to these terms and contact
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal duties or operational needs. The latest version on this page will apply from the date it is published. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
